GPPSD Nutrition Program Receives Over $15,000 through Tourmaline Golf Tournament

At the end of July, Tourmaline hosted their Annual Golf Tournament, bringing together community members for a day of connection. The event raised an incredible $47,020.00, which Tourmaline generously matched, bringing the total donation to $94,040.00.

Last week, Ryan Brown and Fred Henrickson delivered the donation, which was earmarked to support school lunch programs across our region. 

Given Grande Prairie’s size, 50% of the total was split between the three school districts in the city. The remaining funds were divided equally, with 25% going to schools in Grande Cache and 25% to schools in Spirit River.

We’re especially grateful that Grande Prairie Public School Division’s Breakfast and Lunch Program received $15,673.33, a meaningful contribution that will directly benefit students in our division.
