Public Board Meetings - In Person

The Board of Trustees of the Grande Prairie Public School Division meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, with some exceptions, 6:00 p.m. at the Division Central Office (10127 – 120 Avenue, Grande Prairie, AB).  Meetings of the Board of Trustees are open to the public.  

Members of the public who wish to speak to an agenda item on the Board Meeting agenda must register prior to the Board meeting by noon the day of the meeting, and can do so by email: Email

The Board has a policy that describes the process to be used for individuals and delegations who wish to speak at a Board meeting. All Board policies are posted on the Division website; below is the information from Board Policy 7 that describes the process for individuals or delegations who wish to speak to a Board meeting agenda item: 

• 10.2  Individuals or groups who wish to make comment on any specific item on the agenda of a Board meeting are required to register with the Board Office by noon of the day of the Board meeting. A group of people seeking to address an agenda item shall identify a spokesperson for their group.  Their request should include the name, and the agenda item they wish to discuss (full Board Policy 7 can be found on our website, Link to Board Policies on Website, Click Here).
