Parent Literacy Night: Hands-on tips, strategies & more to support young readers! hosted by Parkside Montessori
A child's first teacher is their parent. Children are often exposed to their earliest literacy skills by their parents. Literacy development is a vital part of a child's overall development. It is the foundation for doing well at school, socializing with others, developing independence, managing money and working. The February 28th Parent Literacy Night will highlight ways for parents to support their child's literacy skills with activities and simple strategies that can be used in the home to facilitate your young child's learning. The session begins at 7:30 p.m. and we are very excited to bring this evening to Parkside!
Please RSVP by Feb. 14th to indicate that you would like to attend. Numbers are required for session materials!
