Early Immersion- Preschool, Kindergarten and Grade 1

Children entering any of these grades are able to enroll at École Montrose and receive their education in French. Students are taught the same curriculum as their peers in English schools. Students do not have to have any previous French language experience and families do not need to speak French in order to give your child the gift of a second language. Late Entry French Immersion (LEFI)

Children who have no previous French language learning experience, entering grade 5 may be enrolled in Late Entry French Immersion. Students learn French and continue to work through their Alberta Education curriculum. LEFI students remain a cohort until they are fully integrated with early French Immersion students in grade 9. Students in grades 4 through 8 are able to enhance their schooling experience by joining The Academy. The Academy provides programs in passion based areas such as: hockey, dance, soccer and golf.
