Please join us! Our annual division elementary fun run is all set with a new location and event: the family walk-a-thon, which kicks it all off!
This fun event for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 focuses on community building, wellness, and fun! We invite all students, parents, family members and staff to meet us in the field!
Event Details
Location: Legion Field, Dewit Drive 112 Ave, Grande Prairie, Ab
Event Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Family Walk-a-Thon: 9:00 a.m.
Student Races: 9:30 a.m.
Family Walk-a-Thon
We invite everyone to join us for this new event. A great way to warm up and get ready for the races! Please join us as we walk around the track to music. Let's get our steps in, together!
Student Races
Starting at 9:30 a.m., students will be put into groups, by grade, to race.
- Kindergarten - Grade 2 students will run a 400m race
- Grades 3 - 4 students will run a 800m race
- Grades 5 - 6 students will run a 1200m race
No registration is required. Participants will be rewarded with ribbons.
