Online Learning Opportunities - Grande Prairie Public School Division is committed to providing high-quality instruction to all students to support long-term learning and high school completion. Online programming helps provide families flexibility to meet the academic needs of students.

Grades 1 to 9

TheLink is an Online Programming for  Grades 1 to 9 delivered from I.V. Macklin Public School. Please contact the school administration for any inquiries. 

  • New students to the division, register through boundary school
  • Current division students through School Engage
  • It is expected that students will remain in The Link - Online Program for the entire school year.
  • Student must have access to a personal device that will support the online /web use of Google Meets/Classroom and Microsoft OneNote/Teams (camera and microphone)
  • The Link Online Programming depends on parents for the day-to-day engagement of learning and completion of assignments

Grades 10 to 12

For Grades 10 to 12 the Division is offering Online Course Options delivered through a student’s boundary high school; Charles Spencer High School or Grande Prairie Composite High School.

  • Online learning opportunities are available for limited course offerings at GPPSD high schools.
  • Students are unable to do full course work through online programming.
  • Please contact your child’s high school to learn more about the structure supporting online learning.
