October 20, 2023 - The Grande Prairie Public School Division (GPPSD) is re-emphasizing the value of both the FirstView App (school bus tracking) and ZPass+ App (student tracking).

The FirstView App, tailored for both mobile and desktop users, is the best way for families to get real-time information on school bus locations, delays, and potential cancellations. Parents and guardians must remember to log in to the app each year and enter their child's unique bus pass number, which can be found on the bus pass itself. Once inside the app, mobile users can set up push notifications.

This app is managed by First Student Canada, the trusted bus contractor operating school buses on behalf of GPPSD. For technical support related to the FirstView App, parents can connect with FirstView® Customer Service: 

In addition, families can track when their child scans on or off the bus with the ZPass+ App. By setting up push notifications, families can be immediately informed of their child's bus activities.
