May 16, 2023 - The health and safety of students and staff is our priority. Given the current wildfire situation and the resulting smoke, we want to assure parents and guardians our schools are continuously monitoring the Air Quality Health Index throughout the school day.

Any time the AQHI reaches:

• 4-6 is a Moderate Risk – there is no need to modify the usual activities for most students.
• 7-10 is a High Risk – most students can go outside, but strenuous activities are modified or rescheduled.
• 10+ is an Extreme Risk – outside activities, including outdoor recess and athletic events, are cancelled.

Parents and guardians needing specific support for their child during periods of poor air quality are asked to call their school.
