The Board of Trustees of the Grande Prairie Public School Division is pleased to announce the Sod Turning Ceremony for the Grande Prairie Composite High School Replacement. The event is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at 10501 112 Avenue (south side of 112 Avenue).

About the Grande Prairie Composite (GPCHS) Replacement Project:
Scheduled to open in 2022, the Grande Prairie Composite High School replacement project will be a grade 9-12 school with a student population of approximately 1,600 and a staff population of 75. The total size of the new school will be 16, 595 square meters and will include notable construction features such as a LEED Silver standard rating. Construction on the project, designed by architects from the Workun Garrick Partnership, and contracted by AMAN Builders Inc., is expected to begin shortly.
