Character and citizenship education at Parkside is an inclusive concept where our school community supports the positive character development of everyone .  It is woven throughout the school day for our students as well as integrated into the curriculum, weekly assemblies, our school policies and co and extracurricular activities. This year all activities have been built around the Chivalry and Respect of the Medieval Court.

Attraper.   This certificate is given out any time a teacher or staff member witnesses a student demonstrating an example of good behaviour or citizenship, an act of kindness, generosity or any choice that displayed good character.

Red Fish/Blue Fish students of the week- Every two weeks we celebrate students from every class for having demostrated positive behaviour in our school.  These students are recognized at our assembly and their certificates proudly hang on our Cat in the Hat Wall of Fame!
