Montrose School Council Mission Statement
To actively support the staff, students, programs, facilities, parents and school events in providing education excellence and citizenship.

Montrose Parent Council meets the first "school day" Monday of each month, 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the library.

Parent council is a "town hall" format. All parents and guardians who have a student attending Montrose Jr High School can attend and vote at a meeting.

Montrose Parent Council is made up of the following officers: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Four Officers.

There are many aspects of Montrose Parent Council allowing many different opportunities for parents to have meaningful involvement in their child's education. Some of these areas include: Volunteer Coordinator, AHSCA Rep, Fundraising, Teacher Appreciation, School Dances, Web Site updates.
