Montrose School Council Mission Statement

To actively support the staff, students, programs, facilities, parents and school events in providing education excellence and citizenship.

  • Montrose Parent Council meets the first "school day" Monday of each month, 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the library.
  • Parent council is a "town hall" format. All parents and guardians who have a student attending Montrose Jr High School can attend and vote at a meeting.
  • Montrose Parent Council is made up of the following officers: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Four Officers.
  • There are many aspects of Montrose Parent Council allowing many different opportunities for parents to have meaningful involvement in their child's education. Some of these areas include: Volunteer Coordinator, AHSCA Rep, Fundraising, Teacher Appreciation, School Dances, Web Site updates.
