The Grande Prairie Music Parents Association is a group organized to make it possible for the music students of the Grande Prairie Public School District to travel to competitions, workshops and concerts, and to perform in many different venues. We are all parents of music students! The Association is led by a Board of Directors – 12 volunteer parents - and along with the Music Director, Craig McLauchlan, we coordinate all the fundraising activities including bottle drives, chocolate sales, bingos, casinos, plant sale, Club a la Comp, etc. These events give students and their parents the opportunity to volunteer and earn points which defray the cost of the music tours. The Board of Directors meets monthly to keep everything running smoothly. We also hope to keep you, the music parents, informed by keeping this website up to date, and by responding to any questions or concerns you might have. Please drop by regularly to check the website for information. Hope to see you at the fundraisers!
