Students at Aspen Grove School are able to participate in a wide variety of sports and recreational activities. In the fall, all students are invited to participate in a district wide cross-country run at Muskoseepi Park. The is a wonderful opportunity for students to build school spirit, and realize that they are part of a much larger group of students being active from across the city. Kindergarten-Grade 4 students also are able to participate in Play Day in May or June.

Grade 5 students are provided the option of being involved in Newcomball (modified volleyball) and Bordenball. Grade 6 students are invited to participate in both volleyball and basketball. District-wide tournaments for all team sports are held at various schools. A District=wide Track and Field Day is also held for all Grades 5-6 students.
