MISSION STATEMENT

That ALL students and staff of GPPSD, have the opportunity to gain a better understanding and respect of Indigenous spirituality, culture and philosophy.

THE FNMI PROGRAM STAFF WILL WORK TO:

• Provide social, emotional and cultural support to students

• Act as a liaison between parents and schools

• Provide indigenous specific professional development for all staff

• Develop curriculum and resources to encourage indigenous pedagogy into the classroom

• Work with parents, families and community to enhance the FNMI Program
