Supporting Public Education

The Grande Prairie Public School District Education Foundation was established in 1991 to enhance educational opportunities for students.

As the third oldest in the province, the GPPSD Education Foundation was designed to complement basic education services in the city's public schools. Foundation directors work toward providing resources in areas that are not funded through government allocations, such as field trips, guest speakers, scholarships, grants to schools and the District's annual Striving for Excellence dinner.
