Substitute Teachers
We are accepting applications from teachers who would be willing to substitute teach in all grade levels. We are particularly interested teachers for the Junior and Senior High grades.
According to our current Collective Agreement, we pay $212 per day for the first 5 consecutive days of subbing, after which placement on the current grid takes place. The district will pay $106 per half day.
When filling temporary, interim and/or probationary contracts we give first consideration to our substitute teachers.
Applicants are required to present a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate and written documentation to verify a clean Criminal Record.

According to our current Collective Agreement, we pay from $17.17 per hour. When filling temporary contracts we give first consideration to our substitute teacher assistants.
